As homeowners and short-term rental operators in Campton, Thornton, and Woodstock, New Hampshire, we grew tired of the constant struggle to deal with our garbage, with not nearly enough options for cost-effective, reliable trash & garbage collection services. We kept asking around – is there a dumpster near me? Who does trash pick-up in Central New Hampshire? With constant dead ends on our search, we decided to clean it up.

In launching Pothos Stays, a short-term rental property management company, our first endeavor is solving our community’s trash crisis. With our fleet of garbage trucks and dumpsters to service the surrounding area, we look forward to serving you soon. We are currently offering two flexible trash pick-up service plans.

Year-Round Service

Get weekly pick-ups every Monday if you have consistent trash removal needs. Best for second homeowners and investment property owners (both short and long term rentals).

Trash Pick-up FAQs

What areas do you service?

We operate our trash pick-up services in the Campton, Thornton, and Woodstock area. While we specialize in trash pick-up for short-term rental operators, we are able to service garbage removal for any and all homes in the area. Are we not servicing your area or wondering if you’re close enough? Shoot us an email and we’ll be in touch!

When do you do your pick-ups?

Trash pick-ups will be on Mondays except during holidays or during snow storms, in which case, we will conduct pick-ups the day after.

Do you offer recycling?

We currently do not offer a recycling service. All waste must be bagged properly, and if you’d like to recycle, we suggest taking those properly organized to the Thornton Transfer Station.

Are there any restrictions or things to consider?

● Big items: handling these jobs once / month. $100 service charge + item-specific disposal fees

● Hazardous waste: items such as chemicals, electronics, needles, or batteries will not be handled

● To get picked up, trash must be confined to an easily accessible bin or secure container.

● During winter, trash area must be clear of snow (Contact us for recommendations on snow removal if you need assistance)

Are there any volume constraints?

Our prices reflect the assumption that each house on average is generating three to five 13-gallon trash bags of waste / week. If a customer is consistently generating more waste than that, we will increase our prices to reflect that increase or cease service.
